Mod'Art International Paris brings world class fashion education to India. It offers students high-quality professional training in sync with the needs of the industry. At Mod'Art, students are professionally trained with skills necessary to stay in tune with the needs of the fashion fraternity.

The Fashion trade is probably the industry that has undergone great change over the decades. With the arrival of big financial groups over the last few decades, the International market of Indian apparel and fashion has a tremendous scope and opportunity.
Mod'Art India offers a specialized teaching program which caters to both the Indian and International market where a student can opt for training in either design or management in the fashion field. Careers in fashion are exciting and creatively rewarding.
We strive on the Mantra that "We create designers who can change the world of Fashion".

Mod'Art India

Mod'Art India is the sister concern of Mod'Art Paris, a premium Parisian fashion school, known for providing exclusive education to fashion enthusiasts since 1982.
India being a fast growing economy and a prominent protagonist in the field of fashion, Mod'Art Paris felt a need to mark its presence here. Hence in 2008, the first branch was opened in Mumbai followed by Delhi in 2009.
Although several design education institutes are setting up operation in India, Mod'Art offers impeccable training, exposure and unmatched standards to help young professionals make their mark in the industry.
Our purpose is to integrate the French fashion knowledge with the indigenous know-how of the Indian fashion industry, to give you that cutting edge over others in the field of fashion.
The methods of education and training provided by Mod'Art will successfully guide you towards fulfilling your aspirations in this career.
We at Mod'Art International welcome you to discover the possibilities of a fusion between French and Indian fashion, its traditions and dynamic culture.

The training involves a flexible approach, which enables students to adapt to the fast moving and dynamic world of both creative and technical fashion fields. Mod’art relies on a team of professors with long term experiences in the fashion industry, a team focused on providing students with a constantly updated international format of education. Students at Mod’art regularly interact with prominent professionals from various fashion houses and brands. At Mod’art, we make sure that our students are in constant touch with industry professionals, which helps them in gaining hands-on experience and exposure. We provide internship for every year of study with some of the top brands and design houses in India. Students are also expected to learn and explore the areas of fashion in the form of field trips and visits besides classroom teaching. This helps in forming an idea of the actual functional fashion business in India.

Teaching Methods & Aids

Team of Teachers

The faculty at Mod’art consists of professionals from the world of fashion with long experiences in teaching and working with fashion houses and brands. We also have people from the industry who interact with the students, conduct seminars, conferences and are also the members of the jury for exams, so that the students get an insight straight from the industry.

Internship /Placement Program

Each year students are a part of a compulsory internship program, which forms a strong link with the professional fashion world and a progressive initiation into their future career. Mod’art employs a teaching style that enhances and recognizes the personality of each student individually, preparing them to adapt and influence their style in the fields they chose to work upon in the future. Every student at Mod’art receives personal attention as we have a low teacher to student ratio of 1:4, which ensures the best standard of quality education. Our training aims to develop teamwork, as the Fashion industry is perpetually teamwork oriented. At the same time, we help them develop their individual leadership and business skills. We prepare the students to face their future endeavors in the fashion world.

Changing Student's Perspective

The students need to be able to constantly update their skills in the fashion world. The ultimate aim of a designer’s work is to be acceptable to others rather than him or her. At Mod’art, we train the students not only to understand the needs of fashion, but also what makes fashion successful and what do people want. We assign Mentors to each student, who offer permanent supervision and monitoring of that student, in every aspect of the student's development. These Mentors are the Masters of their domains, who will provide you with constant guidance and support.

Preparing Students for the Outside World

We conduct a series of mock interviews with our students, such that they can face their interviews with confidence.

We also assist them in setting up their CV and creating their portfolio.
